As a young student, Ron had cared for his elderly grandfather and grew frustrated at the lack of local care services. He set up Parklands in 1993, initially with one facility in Buckie. Today, Parklands operates nine care homes in Moray and the Highlands, employing almost 700 staff and providing residential care for over 300 older people in small, rural communities.
